It was after years that I stayed in my hometown (Muzaffarpur, Bihar) for almost two weeks and had a chance to roam around the town and be a witness to the change. Roads are wider, power supply is more than 20 hrs, malls are coming in, retail chains are opening up, a safer environment is being set up but above all, what was extremely satisfying was that the residents there are opening up to the change and acting responsibly. Businessmen are paying taxes; people in service sector are nomore reluctant to work because the accountability has come in and also the ideology of youth is changing. Several of them want to stay back and drive the change, which they believe in. All credit goes to, Nitish.

maharahtra should come to bihar
Bihar should evolve and should be in the lime light . IT should become so developed that people from Maharashtra come to Bihar for jobs and the feeling of anti-north by MNS chief evaporate

nation needs to understand bihar
Hi Saurabh,
Nation needs to understand Bihar... its passion and zeal... its potential and intelligence... its drive and ambition...
when i remember our days early 90s... i remember how we students wake up at 4 in the wee hours and cram the lessons... solve the maths and reactions... to realize the dream of our parents... grand parents... village and community...
these days... that passion has more flame... that drive has more force... to convert the brad BIHARI into a BRAND BIHARI... and it is in all corners of the state... from patna to purnia... from darbhaga to daltonganj...
time is no too far... that there will be a backward trend among the NRBs to shape the state faster... better... to make it the representative state of NEW INDIA... where there will be no RAJs...
yes bihar is evolving and nation needs to understand that !
